570 396 0293
Trebbe has spent many years tracking the bonds between myth and psyche, nature and people, beauty and sorrow. She founded Vision Arrow in 1997 to offer programs worldwide that combine the quest for meaning and the discovery of wisdom and insight in nature. In 2009 she founded Radical Joy for Hard Times, a global community of people dedicated to finding and making beauty in the wounded places of the world.
Trebbe is the author of The World Is a Waiting Lover: Desire and the Quest for the Beloved and is currently working on a new book, The Ground Beneath Your Heart, about the act of beauty as the environmental activism of the future. Her articles about people's emotional and spiritual relationship with nature have appeared in Sierra, The Nation, Orion, Harper's, Spirituality and Health, and other magazines, and she is a Consulting Editor and frequent contributor to Parabola
An explorer of both inner and outer worlds, Trebbe has camped alone in the Arctic wilderness, written about the spiritual path of unrequited love, studied classical Indian dance, and led a week-long vigil in a clear-cut old-growth forest in British Columbia. She lives in rural northeastern Pennsylvania, a region currently under exploitation by natural gas companies.
